Emre is currently working as a test engineer at IBM. He spends most of his time on his computers programming. He likes cooking and he usually cooks dinners for group of friends. He is married to Jessica Saricicek and they are expecting a baby!

He is a linux fan and tries to contribute to ubuntu/fedora community as much as he can. He likes working on optimization problems and complexity theory. He and jessie enjoy traveling a lot. Jessie keeps a travel blog and posts their travel adventures there.

For some reason Emre likes pigeons and dreams breeding his own pigeons again one day. Oddly enough his favorite animals are pigeons, chickens and cows. Its said that he can communicate with birds. He has rescued many birds (lost parrots, parakeets, crows, martin etc.) from many awkward situations.

He likes bikes and has one named Kiraz, which he enjoys riding around Chapel hill. There are couple songs that he can play well on his guitar.
